An Air Jordan 1 without the classic Wings logo? It’s happening later this year. Jordan Brand has been doing all kinds of unique things to its retro lineup to help celebrate 30 years. The Air Jordan 1 has already returned in the lowtop rendition featuring the classic ‘Nike Air’ branding on the tongue and an Air Jordan 1.5 hybrid is looming in the near future. Now we see four new colorways of the Jordan 1 featuring a unique side panel branding that just reads ‘Air Jordan’. A part of the “Rare Air” collection, each version features a removable tongue branding with a velcro Jumpman (sorry no Nike Air here) which underneath reads ‘Rare Air’. If you aren’t a fan of the missing Wings logo. you can at least take solace in knowing that each colorway sticks rather close to the Chicago lineage. A predominantly black pair features red Swoosh branding, there’s a Black/Cement variety, a Wolf Grey, and an all red version featuring hints of elephant print that’s sure to please. Check out full images below and we’ll keep you updated on this mysterious collection in the future as we find out more information regarding the Rare Air collective.
