SBTG Creates Custom New Balances Inspired By A National Military Tradition

Singapore-based streetwear and sneaker customizer SBTG teams up with local shop Born & Raised for a special release of the New Balance 996 inspired by the nation’s rite of passage for men, mandatory military service. The very limited release of the SBTG x Born & Raised “military issue” New Balance 996s contains two versions of the shoe, each with duck camo paneling and army-inspired graphic details. Limited to only 15 pairs, the predominantly white version is dubbed the “Bravo Romeo Section”, while the green colorway named “Bravo Romeo Specialist” is limited to a mere 5 pairs. Each comes housed in a army surplus style custom box. Pairs are available now at the Born & Raised pop-up shop in Singapore.
