As part of the 23rd Anniversary celebration of the Air Jordan 7, Jordan Brand released two distinct colorways of the Retro silhouette inspired by the city of Barcelona as a means to call out MJ’s Dream Team summer. The initial black pair was believed to be a “Marvin The Martian” inspiration due to Jordan’s recent revival of the Michael Jordan/Looney Tunes saga. It appears that an actual “Marvin The Martian” colorway is in the works based on yet another leaked photo of the Air Jordan 7, as the black leather as well as the package of color accents are a proper representation of Bugs Bunny’s outer-space villain. Release information hasn’t been set, but we feel this pair would be a nice follow-up to this weekend’s Hare 7s.
