Is Jordan Brand going to continue the Champagne and Cigar collection throughout the next seven years? The plan laid out is rather bold – to give each signature sneaker celebrating a 23rd anniversary that also coincides with a championship a luxurious makeover to mirror celebratory cigars and champagne bottles. Obviously the brand will skip out on the Air Jordan 9 and Air Jordan 10 given Mike’s hiatus for baseball and losing in the 2nd round to the Orlando Magic, but will Jordan continue the theme in honor of the second three-peat?
Here we see a comparison of the two packs thus far, as the Air Jordan 7 varieties will debut this Saturday, June 20th. While the Champagne offering is much more muted this year than last thanks to ditching the green patent leather, the original championship ring lace locks return once again.
