A Detailed Look at the Nike KD 8

Kevin Durant is poised to have a comeback year after his last campaign was riddled with numerous foot injuries. The former MVP should be back stronger than ever thanks in part to the latest design of the Nike KD 8. The woven fabric offers a flexible upper that should only help to diversify the numerous vibrant colorways we’ll get of his eighth signature throughout 2015 and 2016. The debut pair will be this Nike KD 8 “USA”, as splashes of a patriotic red, white, and blue hit the upper complete with exposed Dynamic Flywire cables on the forefoot. An interesting added bulk is found on the heel of the midsole to help stability while Zoom Air bubbles offer an extra spring toward the front of the model. Available June 27th for $180, this will be the most expensive base model in the KD lineup yet, but with the new technology in tow and Durant’s veteran status within Nike Basketball, it shouldn’t come as a surprise that his offerings are rising in price. Check out more of the latest KD release after the break and let us know if you’re feeling the design elements of the KD 8 by taking your thoughts to the comments section.
