Toronto’s pride and joy known as Drake is taking the hip-hop world by storm. Give credit to the guy for rolling with the punches and always coming back with something substantial when an opponent tries to take a metaphorical swing. There’s no denying that when Drake is at the top of his game, he’s sitting uncontested at the number one spot and “hip-pop” culture is all the more interesting. And with the help of Jordan Brand’s incredible Retro releases inspired by October’s Very Own, the hype around his brand continues to grow as well, and news of a release of the Air Jordan 10 “OVO” in white only helps the cause.
But let’s not forget that the Air Jordan 12 was part of the OVO set as well. This sample rendition made just for Drake’s inner circle is regarded much higher than the 10th model because of the rich Championship-winning history around the shoe (the Flu Game and his fifth ring come to mind). Jordan Brand crafted the unreleased OVO version with the high-end sting-ray leather as well as smoky-black outsoles for a seamless blend of luxury and street. No word on if and when the Air Jordan 12 “OVO” will release, but here’s a heads up – a pair just went up for sale on FlightClub and on eBay.
