Nike Celebrates KD’s First MVP With KD 8 Release

Nike takes us back to Kevin Durant’s MVP award-winning season, drawing inspiration from the suit he wore during his famous speech in which he claimed that his mom was ‘the real MVP’. The Swoosh continues to showcase how diverse the Flyweave upper is, as the use of knit fabric showcases an array of Court Purple and Bright Crimson influences throughout the latest KD 8 release. Designer Leo Chang references KD’s leg tattoo of a sabre-toothed tiger thanks to a unique construction on the outsole with Zoom Air displaced throughout for a supremely comfortable and cushiony ride.
