The Nike Air Huarache‘s resurgence has been capped off by a number of new models taking inspiration from Tinker Hatfield’s 1991 classic creation. It’s almost as if the Swoosh has been making up for lost time; as if they’re saying that they should’ve given the shoe a massive retro offering sooner and now we’re in a time when the speed of new Huarache updates is quicker than ever. Two new colorways of the Nike Huarache featuring that woven toebox are available right now, each utilizing two popular trends int he sneaker world. The Hot Lava pair manages to go abstract with a faint cheetah print in vibrant color splashes while the predominantly black and white pair could be interpreted as either a tiger camouflage or some sort of zebra-print homage. The Air Huarache‘s traditional structure lingers throughout though, as plenty of neoprene keeps the comfortable fit we’ve come to know and love. Each aesthetic is available today from Nike retailers worldwide.
