Derrick Rose‘s time at adidas will always be marred by what ifs after multiple injury-laden seasons, but that doesn’t mean that the one-time MVP can’t see a mid-career resurgence. The three stripes continues to stay dedicated to his signature line as well, as they’ve experimented with plenty of interesting aesthetics on the upcoming adidas D Rose 6. Today we get a look at a fairly standard “Away” edition that features a black synthetic upper complete with micro-perforations to add ventilation to the otherwise seamlessly solid model. Accents of red hit on the lining and tongue for a decidedly Chicago vibe. But the shoe does deviate from the path thanks to an interesting camouflage gum outsole that looks almost tortoise in nature.
