The 2015-15 NBA season should prove to be a big one for Derrick Rose and his Chicago Bulls fans, as the former MVP has, according to scouts and trainers, returned to his peak form and performance level this offseason. On his feet for the comeback year will be a shoe equally ready to perform, the adidas D Rose 6. Incorporating Boost foam for the second time in his signature line—the cushioning platform that Derrick says he will never not play in again—the D Rose 6 also features a FITFRAME heel cage system to ensure an adaptive fit and plenty of support. As for the aesthetic of the high-performance shoe, the design includes details inspired by the city of Chicago built in premium materials for a luxurious look. Homages to Chicago include the six-point star of the city’s flag at the base of the laces and six reflective lines in the heel, while the shoe’s diamond pattern across the upper and faceted eyelets call back to the sharp and bold architecture of Chicago. The adidas D Rose 6 launches on October 15, 2015 in the “Home” white and “Away” black colorways you see here.
