Back in 1997, Nike Foamposites were an incredibly tough sell because of its futuristic design and out-of-this-world price-tag. Still, Nike pushed forward with more releases in the 21st century with some daring new colorways, like this devilish red/black pair that first popped up in stores in late 2001. Since its debut, the Red Foam Pros have been a highly sought-after commodity in the cultish Foamposite market, and once the fad went mainstream, prices began to skyrocket. Well, now we know that the Pearl Foams are returning as part of the pack and the Dr. Doom release from 2006 is also returning. That sets the stage for the awesome Red Foamposite Pro, which is being revealed below (or at least what the 2016 release will look like). Compare them to the originals above and stay tuned to Sneaker News for release info.
