Andrew Rizzo New Balance’s latest Teddy Santis-led Made in USA collection is right around the corner. Ahead of a proper unveiling, we’re beginning to unpack individual styles expected to make up the collection, starting here with an “Olivine” take on the beloved New Balance 992.
Made in USA collections generally feature a mix of understated and more energetic styles, and this one falls firmly in the former category. A predominantly grey mesh and suede upper lets the model’s premium build do most of the talking, joined by a hairy suede backtab and beige leather tongue overlay. The N logo border and “992” and “USA” windows all come in beige to match, while a gum brown outsole enters the mix underfoot. The titular Olivine color, it would appear, makes its lone appearances on the TPU heel clip and ABZORB SBS cushioning pods.
The New Balance 992 “Olivine” is due out February 26th, 2026 via New Balance and retailers, priced at $200 USD. Expect to see more Spring/Summer 2026 Made in USA sneakers emerge in the near future.
