ASICS took a page out of their own collaboration with Sneaker Freaker for this general release of another classic running model. The ASICS Gel Respector is a formidable runner in its own right, it just had the misfortune of following in the footsteps of the ASICS Gel Lyte III and was somehow lost in the retro mix until earlier this year. The Alvin Purple colorway returns here, as a muted base of black mesh and nubuck allows for multiple shades of purple to stand out on the branding, lining, and unique heel cage.
