While the newest models for two of Nike’s big three signature athletes, Kevin Durant and LeBron James, have already been unveiled for the upcoming basketball season, it looks like Kobe Bryant’s previous model will still be going strong for a little while longer. With no sign of a release date or even leaked photos for the Nike Kobe 11 yet, fans of the black Mamba’s signature line at least have this new Kobe 10 Elite colorway to look forward to soon. The dark look for the high-top Flyknit constructed design features a black upper with splashes of Volt woven in, while Metallic Silver highlights each Swoosh and a translucent Blue Lagoon sole unit sits below. This colorway also gets a unique feature, a special military-esque tongue tag with the latin phrase ““Historia Est Magistra Vitae” that translates to “History is life’s teacher.” Expect thse at select Nike Basketball retailers beginning October 14, 2015.
