Now an annual tradition for the signature line of Nike’s big three of LeBron James, Kobe Bryant, and Kevin Durant, the EXT iterations of each player’s shoe presents a premium, off-court lifestyle edition of the usually performance-driven sneaker. And that’s precisely what you’re going to get with the KD 8 EXT, which we get a first look at today. As you can see, the remodeled KD 8 features an intricately woven textile upper in black with tonal laces, Flywire, Swooshes, and midsoles, then accented with metallic gold and hits of red before the gum sole below adds an exquisite final touch. Making a good case for itself as the best version of KD’s eighth signature shoe that we’ve seen so far, for now we’ll have to wait for an official release date for this EXT edition.
