Adidas Futurecraft 3d Printed Adidas Ultra Boost 1

Today adidas unveiled what they are calling the future of performance footwear with Futurecraft 3D, an innovative 3D-printed running shoe midsole that can be customized to fit the cushioning needs of the wearer’s foot. This new production technology aims to take running shoes to the next level, offering individualized cushioning and support for every runner’s unique needs. By the completion of the ambitious Futurecraft initiative, adidas hopes to offer consumers the ability to walk into an adidas store, run briefly on a treadmill to track their cushioning and support needs while also tracking their foot’s contours and pressure points, and walk out with a pair of shoes with their custom 3D printed midsole. Get a first look at the amazing Futurecraft technology here, and stay tuned for further information on this new breakthrough in performance footwear.
