The sneakerboot category may be a bit oversaturated with old Nike trainers and runners getting repurposed as winterized versions, but you can’t be mad at Nike for trying to stretch the retro aesthetic through the months you’d usually put the originals on ice. The Nike Air Trainer SC II can’t escape the movement, as the classic training model gets extended thanks to fuse and mesh ankle collar. The colorway is rather standard to kick things off, as a bolstered black leather sees contrast speckling on the midsole while University Red striping adds a much needed pop. A hidden layer of 3M fully covers the new ankle extension and Swoosh when light shines. What do you think of the Air Trainer SC II getting the sneakerboot treatment? Let us know in the comments and be on the lookout for this pair to arrive at Nikestore in the near future.
