Finnish sneaker brand Karhu pays homage to their Nordic roots with two packs of sneakers inspired by the Scandinavian geography. First up is the Aria model in two premium pig skin suede colorways with a “Polar Night” theme. A polar night occurs in a period of winter where the sun barely rises above the horizon, creating a mystical dim light translated to the grey pair, and a dark red sky while the sun peaks through that inspires the red colorway. A trio of a second retro runner from the brand, the Fusion 2.0, features a “Mount Saana” theme with colorways inspired by Mt. Saana, a popular trail-hiking and outdoors sports location in Northern Finland. Both sets of sneakers from Karhu release this Wednesday, November 11th at select sneaker boutiques worldwide.
