Will Kevin Durant sign with his hometown team, the Washington Wizards, once his contract with the OKC Thunder expires after this season? You had better not ask Kevin Durant. Rumors of KD pulling his version of LeBron’s homecoming have been swirling around for over a year, but recently the former MVP stated that he felt any talk of him coming to the Wizards was disrespect to the current players on the team. Still, that doesn’t stop Nike from pumping out some creative colorways of the KD 7 inspired by Durant’s hometown, like this unreleased sample that details KD’s bus route on the P12 that he perused when he was a kid. Don’t read too much into the Wizards colorway, because it’s inspired by the colors of the metro bus. Durant and the Thunder are visitors at the Verizon Center tonight – will he break out a similar PE? We’ll see later tonight.
