The R698 has seen some added attention on the collaborative front lately, and here the murdered out look lends itself to the streetwear aesthetic rather well. The shoe was created in the 90s as a major facet of the German brand’s performance running category. The Trinomic cushioning was revolutionary at the time and featured honeycomb cells for a unique ride that provided stability and comfort. The reworked Puma Blaze of Glory serves as an homage to New York City and its basketball culture. Puma has introduced a new “Techy Mesh” that allows for a breathable yet refined look to both silhouettes.
