Kobe Bryant Gets A Farewell Gift From One Of His Biggest Fans In The NBA

Kobe’s farewell tour made a stop in Toronto, the city where the man poured in 81 points to etch his name into the history books with a scoring effort for the ages. And while the team up north hid all evidence of The Black Mamba’s achievement against them, the crowd did give him a standing ovation by game’s end and chanted “We want Kobe” in a warm send off. DeMar DeRozan honored Kobe personally by giving him a customized pair of the Nike Kobe 10 EXT Mid “Liquid Gold”, a pair that DeMar has worn on court in the past to match those OVO specific alternate jerseys the Raptors are so fond of. It’s easy to see how influential Kobe was on DeMar’s game from a shooting guard perspective, and DeRozan has been lacing up Kobe’s kicks for quite some time now.
