The Nike Hyperrev series has given us three back-to-back hits, but if you were to group the trio together, they’d be nearly unrecognizable as a series of the same namesake. The Nike Hyperrev 2016 continues this tradition, as the silhouette redefines modern-day basketball silhouettes with an inspiration from the past. The aesthetic draws comparisons to 90s models like the Nike Air Shake NDestrukt thanks to an oversized Swoosh and midfoot strap. A new neoprene mesh slip-on upper allows for a lockdown fit while a hidden lacing system still gives you a familiar feel. The latest colorway utilizes a University Red mesh and fuse base while accents of Hyper Crimson stand out on the laces, outsole, and branding. Expect to see the Hyperrev 2016 on-feet of plenty of NBA players once the shoe sees an official launch in the new year. More photos below.
