Earlier today we got a look at the upcoming Nike LeBron Ambassador 8 “Chinese New Year”. The overall silhouette is definitely a step in the right direction for Team LeBron, and considering that LBJ just inked a lifetime deal with Nike, only more of these offshoots from his signature model will be appearing in the future. The Nike LeBron Ambassador 8 has a little bit of the Soldier line in its DNA thanks to that interesting heel cage and Zoom-infused outsole, but the most noticeable departure is the addition of a high-arching heel support system that you can slip into. It’s part Kobe, part The Glove, and creates an interesting aesthetic. This “Oreo” colorway keeps thing simple thanks to a black Hyperfuse base while white speckling hits the midsole and heel cage throughout. Hopefully the Ambassador makes its way stateside later in 2016, but for now stay tuned for more updates right here on Sneaker News.
