Jordan Brand‘s 2016 release slate is bringing all kinds of goodies including the long-awaited return of the Air Jordan 9 Low. There’s no doubting that the Air Jordan 9 is a bit of an oddity given that Mike took a basketball hiatus to pursue a career in baseball when Tinker was creating this model. It’s been over 14 years since we last saw the low-top rendition of Mike’s ninth signature hit retailers in a number of new colorways that even featured the likes of a patent leather mudguard. Here this classic combination of Black and Red land on a simple colorway, one that definitely reminds us of some of the better Derek Anderson PEs. It’ll be interesting to see what other looks Jordan Brand has cooking up for the silhouette, but for now, check out the brief preview below. More release date updates to come.
