Converse Debuts Brand New Skate Shoe Called The CONS Metric CLS

Known mostly for tweaking classic designs with features specifically for skateboarding, Converse’s skateboarding takes the tech up a notch for their latest all-new model, the CONS Metric CLS. Designed for the best of both worlds of the maximum boardfeel of a vulcanized sole and the comfort and protection of a cup sole, the Metric CLS (which stands for comfort, lightweight, and stability) utilizes a dual-density Phylon injected midsole for lightweight impact protection and low-to-the-board feel. Up top, the shoe is constructed with a minimally-stiched suede and mesh upper in a clean and simple design. The CONS Metric CLS will be available beginning January 28th at Converse.com and CONS-stocked skate shops worldwide.
