Jordan Brand Shows Us What Could Have Been With Air Jordan 5 Low “Alternate”

Jordan Brand‘s “Alternate Collection” has showed us a number of awesome Chicago-centric colorways that just never left the sample shelf in a bit of revisionist’s history. The Air Jordan 4 featured a clean white tumbled leather base and bright red accents throughout. Now it’s the Air Jordan 5 Low‘s turn. It isn’t the first time that an Air Jordan 5 will nod at an unreleased sample as last year’s Air Jordan 5 “Midnight Navy” did the same. The combination of black and red on the Air Jordan 5 Low “Alternate” is a familiar aesthetic, but is accomplished in a new way thanks to a translucent red outsole and matching lining.
