Although the Superstar may be everyone’s favorite shell-toe adidas silhouette, the Pro Model deserves its fair share of recognition. Luckily, adidas always gives the shoe the spotlight from time to time, most notably with a Big Sean collab back in 2012. Today, adidas presents the “Animal” edition, which swaps out Big Sean’s snakeskin and all-red colorway for an alligator skin upper and the iconic white with three black stripes. Judging by the releases that have dropped lately, from XENO to NIGO, it seems like adidas is upgrading the quality and constructing their Pro Models with premium materials, and that is perfectly fine.
