Do you remember Comme des Garçons‘ Nike Blazer collaborations? A few years ago Rei Kawakubo’s fashion imprint hit up DSM locales with both a Nike Blazer and Nike Blazer Low, each featuring a rather standard issue all-black aesthetic while bold CDG branding hit the heel. The low counterpart was so low-key that people didn’t even know about the official Japan launch back in 2013 until they mysteriously landed at retailers. The collaborative efforts are coming back once again for this upcoming Fashion Week celebration, each steering clear of the brasher hearts from the notorious CDG Play creations for a more grown-up aesthetic. Each Blazer will be available at DSM and NikeLab tomorrow, February 11th. Pricing details to come.
