The ever-classic ASICS Gel-Lyte V has been the proud recipient of a number of awesome inline colorways over the past few months, broadening the horizons for a silhouette that usually gets most of its love in the sneaker world from esteemed collaborators with unique storylines in the background. These two premium suede colorways come equipped with a unique story arch of their own though, as an “April Showers” motif brings some pastel shades in order to get ready for the changing seasons ahead. A minty seafoam green sees micro perforations add some ventilation for the heatwaves ahead while patented neoprene lands on the slip-on ankle collar construction. Hints of tan piping add some class. The other pair is simply an inversion, with tan serving as the base for a unique sandy take on one of the Japanese brand’s most famous creations.
