It makes sense that legendary designer Peter Moore originally wanted to call the Nike Dunk the Nike College Color High. After all, the silhouette was a college institution and could be found on the feet of nearly every major Division 1 NCAA program throughout the mid to late 80s. The “Be True To Your School” theme landed on major Nike-affiliated schools and now some of the original Nike Dunk College Basketball Pack retros will be returning for the month of May. March Madness may be in the books, but that doesn’t mean that the Swoosh can’t bring back memories of once-dominant programs like UNLV and Michigan to fruition during the off-season. The two College Pack outliers will arrive on May 14th at select retailers. Be sure to head to our release dates page for more info.
