Nike Sportswear sneaks in a late addition to their already stacked lineup of USA themed sneakers in celebration of this summer’s Olympic games, and this might just be the best of them all. It’s the newly returned Air Zoom Spiridon that gets the USA makeover, with the red, white and navy blue color scheme you’ve seen on pretty much all of the USA Olympic releases so far from the Air Max BW to the KD 9. With a color block similar to the original black and red colorway, these go for the gold with metallic gold Swooshes—perhaps inspired by Michael Johnson’s iconic golden spikes at the 1996 Olympics. The clean look is finished with an the entire sole in icy clear rubber. Enjoy an official preview of the “USA” Spiridon here, and expect them to drop at select Nike Sportswear retailers on August 4th.
