Coach K and Kevin Durant have reunited this summer for USA Basketball, and the relationship is paying off for both parties. Not only does KD get to play under one of the most legendary coaches of all-time, but Coach K can go back to school with some fresh Kevin Durant PE connections for his squad. Today we get a look at the Nike KD 9 “Duke” for the upcoming collegiate season.

The KD 9 Duke sports a simple black Flyknit upper, white block letter ‘Duke’ branding trademarked on the heel, royal blue accents on the lining and Zoom-laden insole, and an icy bottom. Sure, Kevin was a Longhorn for all of one year where he won the National Player of the Year Award as a freshman, but we’re sure some of that Blue Devil work ethic has rubbed off on him by playing under Mike Krzyzewski the past two Olympics.
