Fresh off a preview of Ronnie Fieg’s Diadora Intrepid “From Seoul To Rio” collaboration, Teaneck’s own Packer Shoes has showcased a brilliant teaming up of their own to further Diadora’s Olympic-themed “From Seoul To Rio” mega-collection. The Packer Shoes Diadora Intrepid showcases the 1980s running silhouette at its best through a luxurious suede and leather combination with enough color pops to perfectly represent the multi-cultural array on display at the international games.
Packer Shoes’ main inspiration behind their Diadora collaboration is the Olympic logo itself. Each color from the iconic Olympic rings is referenced through asymmetrical color blocking on the four Diadora form-stripes. Royal Blue, Red, Orange, and Green all light up the model thanks to a simple base of luxurious black suede and leather that creates a neutral backdrop for the accents to truly shine. Debossed Packer Shoes branding can be found on the heel while metallic gold lace tips furthers the premium nature of this collabortive effort.
One of the favorite features through Packer Shoes Diadora Intrepid will undoubtedly be the insole, as a collage of world flags gives one final nod to the international games. Much like the Ronnie Fieg x Diadora Intrepid, only a limited run of 500 pairs were created in Italy. Also available is a limited run of apparel pieces ranging from a windbreaker, a matching t-shirt displaying the world flag print, a duffle bag, and more.
The Packer Shoes Diadora Intrepid will arrive in-store and online this Saturday, August 20th for $180 USD.
