Nike Looks Ahead to 2020 Olympics With Flyknit Racer Limited to 100 Pairs

The 2016 Summer Olympics in Brazil just ended on Sunday, but Nike is wasting no time preparing for the next global games in 2020. Taking place in Tokyo, the upcoming Olympics in Japan are already being celebrated by Nike with this very special edition of the Flyknit Racer, featuring the modern classic silhouette in a hand-dyed indigo blue upper—utilizing a textile coloring technique dating back centuries in Japan. The shoe also features Japanese Nike branding on the tongue.

Also accompanied by a handbag, the Flyknit Racer was created as a promo item limited to only 100 pairs, and will unfortunately not release to the public.
