But now it looks like the tables have turned as major performance updates like Primeknit and Boost from the three stripe’s running line have found their way into adidas Y-3’s latest Fall/Winter 2016 footwear collection, available next Tuesday, October 18th at select retailers.adidas Y-3
The adidas Y-3 Sport Approach Reflective is the most head-turning design of all thanks to the combination of a full-length Boost midsole unit, a sleek upper that’s somewhere between the Qasa and Y-3 Boost, all while a high-arching ankle support gives an elastic fit thanks to a striped Primeknit addition. The signature matte black colorway displays sublimated three stripe branding on the side panel, rope laces, and premium leather detailing on the heel and tongue tabs to contrast unique perforations throughout. The men’s exclusive highlights the upcoming footwear collection through a unique simplicity and premium textiles native to the Y-3 lineup.
Y-3 will also be prepping for the colder months ahead through the hiking-inspired adidas Y-3 Sport Trail, available in both a men’s and women’s size run. Weather resistant neoprene and bolstered leather comprise the upper while a boot-like rigid outsole pattern will help protect your feet against the snow and slush coming in the months ahead. The adidas Y-3 Sport Run takes the full-length Boost midsole to task in a low-profile leather and neoprene silhouette that’s simple by design, but includes complex panels for a unique twist to the running inspired model.
