73-9 and no championship? Make That Old. Under Armour and Steph Curry are wiping the slate clean starting Tuesday, October 25th when a new NBA season gets underway. Their latest spot featuring Steph and directed by Harmony Korine of Kids and Springbreakers fame addresses the naysayers, Curry’s unanimous MVP, and the subsequent heartbreaking loss in the NBA Finals. The scariest part of it all, though? Steph’s now playing with even more of a chip on his shoulder. He’s mad and out to prove himself all over again.
“The last year has been an incredible roller coaster of emotions and this campaign completely captures those highs and lows,” Curry said. “This year, it’s all about recalibrating to understand there’s still so much left to do and achieve on the court with Under Armour. This film and the work we’ve done on the Curry 3 jumpstarts that mindset – knowing that the next chapter in our story will be written only by the perseverance and the will to succeed.”
The spot features the UA Curry 3 in full glory after the shoe debuted this past Friday, October 21st for $140 USD. The Make That Old campaign will feature fresh digital content from Under Armour and Steph on the @UABasketball Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram accounts so be on the lookout for the latest there and right here on Sneaker News.
