Updated December 5th, 2016: The adidas Ultra Boost 3.0 “Royal” releases on December 6th, 2016 for $180.
It’s hard to believe, but the adidas Ultra Boost is about to be in its third installment this coming Spring/Summer 2017 season. The must-have model was heralded as the three stripe’s best running silhouette before it even released (that was adidas’ own bold proclamation before it was anyone else’s) and it turned out to be as truthful a statement as it was a pre-rollout media pumping up. Today we get a look at another enticing colorway perfect for any occasion with the adidas Ultra Boost 3.0 Royal.
The adidas Ultra Boost 3.0 champions a redesigned Primeknit woven upper that’s been privy to monochromatic installments since we started seeing teaser shots of the third Ultra Boost creation. The protective three stripes branded overlay gets a tonal shade of darker obsidian while the matching heel cage displays a silver wordmark for an added pop. We’re still waiting on more ‘Colorized Boost’ takes, but the traditional white Boost works well with the Continental rubberized outsole unit.
