Nike Basketball’s Diverse Hyperrev Series Gets Another Installment

Nike Basketball’s Diverse Hyperrev Series Gets Another Installment

Nike Hyperrev 2017 Preview

Nike Basketball’s signature superstars control the show. The likes of LeBron, KD, and Kyrie will be joined by Paul George in the near future, but the Swoosh continues to churn out formidable silhouettes that don’t belong to any particular All-Star or All-NBA selection. The Nike Hyperrev series has been as diverse as any with no particular feature or aesthetic tying the yearly installments together. We’ve seen the Hyperrev serve as a proving ground with Kyrie and PG13 championing the model before getting signatures of their own and today we get a look at the next installment – the Nike Hyperrev 2017.

The Nike Hyperrev 2017 utilizes a fairly subdued construction when compared to the craziness that defined the past for the series. A fuse and bolstered sports mesh construction sees a bold pattern add a bit of flare to the lace eyelets while a padded collar helps bring support to the midtop. The ‘Hyperrev 2017’ branding should bring memories of Dover Street Market collabs given the simple vertical text on the tongue. The truly stand-out feature here is the herringbone traction pattern that extends well into the Zoom midsole.

What do you think of the upcoming Nike Hyperrev 2017? Check out more detailed preview shots below and stay tuned for a release date coming Spring 2017.
