Nike Basketball wanted to keep the Mamba DNA alive and well with Kobe’s latest signature model, the Kobe AD, with a refined upper utilizing engineered mesh, Dynamic Flywire, and a unique heel construction all resting on a sleek Zoom Air tooled midsole unit with natural motion in the forefoot. We’ve seen a number of new colorways pop-up throughout the new year, and today we get a look at the Nike Kobe AD Navy slated to release on February 1st, 2017.
The Nike Kobe AD “Navy” features a simple two-color aesthetic with a dark navy contrasted by white hits on the midsole, outsole, and inner lining. A little red pops out on the snake-inspired DNA helix for good measure.
