Kobe Bryant might be retired, but his legacy is still felt throughout the league with players like DeMar DeRozan, Kyrie Irving, and more all looking to the Black Mamba for guidance as an unofficial mentor of sorts. Nike Basketball wanted to keep the Mamba DNA alive and well with Kobe’s latest signature model, the Kobe AD, with a refined upper utilizing engineered mesh, Dynamic Flywire, and a unique heel construction all resting on a sleek Zoom Air tooled midsole unit with natural motion in the forefoot. We’ve seen a number of new colorways pop-up throughout the new year, and today we get a look at the Nike Kobe AD Navy slated to release on February 1st, 2017.

The Nike Kobe AD “Navy” features a simple two-color aesthetic with a dark navy contrasted by white hits on the midsole, outsole, and inner lining. A little red pops out on the snake-inspired DNA helix for good measure. Stay tuned for more info regarding this upcoming Nike Kobe AD Navy colorway (you can see more detailed photos here) in the near future right here on Sneaker News and head over to our Release Dates page for an updated look at the latest and greatest releases headed to retailers.
