Foot Locker To Release The Pensole World Sneaker Championship Winning Shoe Design

Pensole World Sneaker Championship 2

Sixty-four finalists around the globe entered the PENSOLE World Sneaker Championships and now it’s down to one. This winning design, crafted by Maxwell Lund of Morton, MN, is what remains from Pensole’s bracket-style sneaker design tournament, and this Saturday, Foot Locker will release the shoes exclusively at select stores across the globe. Lund’s design was handcrafted in Portugal by Portugal Footwear and features a FE (For Ever) molded EVA outsole, three different grades of fine Portugal leather, lasered signature of the winning designer on top of the pull tab, World Sneaker Championship logo on the heel and metal lace tips. Each shoe is individually numbered on the back of the tongue and comes in a box with straps so it converts into a backpack.  Check out the Foot Locker launch locator to see which shops are carrying them, and tune into the Foot Locker Facebook page to see a live stream of the official unveiling today at 6PM EST.
