Renowned Swedish clothing label Our Legacy has teamed up with Vans Vault for a major collection this spring, featuring a total of 10 pieces of footwear and 12 pieces of apparel. Designed by Our Legacy co-founder Jockum Hallin, the collection that’s all in a color palette of orange, black, and white takes inspiration from California’s hardcore punk scene of the 1980s and ’90s combined with the clean, high style his brand is known for. Hallin, a former member of the skateboarding and hardcore scene himself who has toured the states in his own bands, seamlessly combines the punk aesthetics with Our Legacy and the laid back California style of Vans.
For the footwear, Our Legacy and Vans Vault present premium editions of the Authentic, Old Skool, Mid Skool, and Half Cab, each in premium material combinations of nylon, hairy suede, and full-grain Swedish leather. Each model plays close attention to detail with special features like smooth toe caps on the midsole to offer a vintage look. Meanwhile, the matching apparel collection including coaches jackets, hoodies, and short and longsleeve t-shirts feature retro Vans branding and subcultural references from the hardcore scene like “Positive Mental Attitude”, “Use Your Head”, and “All Ages”.
The Our Legacy x Vans Vault launches globally at Vans Vault stockists this Saturday, February 25th.
