The Nike VaporMax makes its highly anticipated debut this weekend, with a number of debut colorways hitting select stores in limited quantities on both Saturday and Sunday’s Air Max Day celebration. While most of you have pinpointed the Triple Black colorway as the must-have of the weekend, there’s another even rarer offering headed to just 2 stores in New York City – the premium collaborative effort known as the COMME des Garcons x Nike VaporMax in just the silver colorway on Saturday, March 25th.
So which 2 stores will be stocking the CDG Nike VaporMax? COMME des Garcons Boutique at 520 W 22nd Street will have limited quantities of the alternate slip-on construction of the VaporMax as will Dover Street Market on 160 Lexington Ave. While the all black colorway released earlier in a women’s exclusive size run, we’re still unsure the particulars on what sizes this colorway goes up to. Good luck to those of you trying to get a pair, and if all else fails, you can always settle for the Nike VaporMax “Pure Platinum”.
