The Nike Air Max Zero Is Releasing In “Metallic Gold” Too

Nike Air Max Zero Metallic Gold Release Date 01

Updated May 5th, 2017: The Nike Air Max Zero “Metallic Gold” releases on May 18th, 2017 for $150 via Nike SNKRS.

The Nike Air Max Zero is the latest model to get in on the Air Max 97 trend. Later this week we’ll see a number of different Air Max silhouettes don the “Silver Bullet” look featuring that Metallic Silver, but if that aesthetic isn’t for you, there are still more classic colorways to be referenced during the AM97’s 20 year anniversary. We’re speaking of the Nike Air Max 97 Metallic Gold, of course. This is the first time we’ve seen that colorway translated onto a different Air Max model, as the Nike Air Max Zero Metallic Gold features touches of red on the heel counter while gold mesh and synthetic overlays match a metallic visible air unit borrowed from the Air Max 1. The Swoosh even has hidden reflective 3M features. The Nike Air Max Zero Metallic Gold drops April 17th, for $130.
