Lonzo Ball might end up on the Los Angeles Lakers. If so, his father LaVar believes that his son’s value has gone up threefold. In a podcast interview with Colin Cowherd, LaVar Ball says that if Nike, adidas, or Under Armour want to revisit talks with his son Lonzo, the new price-tag would be $3 billion. Last month, the big three brands famously rejected LaVar’s demands, which included a licensing deal for Big Baller Brand and production of their own shoe design. Additionally, LaVar’s $1 billion evaluation was universally laughed at by industry experts, and it only got worse when Big Baller Brand revealed Lonzo’s insanely overpriced and mediocre $495 sneaker. It’s safe to say that Nike, adidas, and Under Armour are likely passing at the opportunity to sign Lonzo and his brothers for $3 billion. Hear the full podcast below.
