Are There Two Versions Of This Nike Mariah Flyknit Racer?

Is this the sequel to the Nike Flyknit Racer? Not quite. Nike has yet to explore a true Flyknit Racer 2, but this updated version of the Air Mariah comes close. Unllike the Flyknit Racer, the Air Zoom Mariah Flyknit features a one-piece sock upper without a true tongue and adds an external heel support that separates it from the Racer. The midsole also does away with the grooves for a smooth exterior like the original Mariah.

Making the shoe even more intriguing, there seems to be two different versions of the shoe with the same style code (918264-100) arriving at different retailers now, one with black Swooshes and one with Hyper Crimson Swooshes to match the midsole. We’ve seen the orange-Swooshed version at European retailers, and the version with black Swooshes has so far only been spotted in the USA, so it could be different for the respective regions.

Whatever the case, those who have had these on their radar need to wait no more; the Air Mariah Flyknit is available now at select retailers like Feature in Las Vegas and BSTN in Germany, and will drop soon on Nike.com.
