Air Jordan 9 Barons Baseball Glove
Updated on July 10th, 2017: The Air Jordan 9 Pinnacle “Baseball Glove” Pack releases on July 15th, 2017.

Michael Jordan shocked the world on October 6th, 1993. He announced his retirement from the game of basketball and decided to hang up his signature sneakers to become a baseball player. Tinker Hatfield and Nike scrambled to keep the Air Jordan line alive and well, and the Jordan 9 ended up becoming a unique outlier in the Jumpman signature series given that the man who it was named after was busy tying his cleats extra tight in the minor leagues and riding a charter bus from small Midwestern town to smaller Midwestern town. It looks like Jordan Brand will be paying tribute to that time in Mike’s alternate athletic career with an upcoming Air Jordan 9 that features unique tumbled leather and woven side panels imitating the webbing of a baseball glove. The premium black leather upper is contrasted by a white lining while baseball ribbon stitching hits the heel along with ’45’ PE branding in a nod to MJ’s baseball and basketball comeback number. There’s no word yet on a Release Date but stay tuned for more info on this oddity called the Air Jordan 9 Baseball Glove right here on Sneaker News.
