The Nike PG 1 “Light Aqua” Releases This July

Nike Pg 1 Light Aqua Release Date 878628 002 01

Updated on July 18th, 2017: The Nike PG 1 “Light Aqua” releases on July 22nd, 2017 for $110.

It’s now officially the NBA off-season which means trade and free agency rumors will keep basketball fans busy enough from missing the game they love for the next few months. At the front of all the speculation is where exactly Paul George will end up. Will he stay in Indiana? Is he headed back to California to rebuild the Lakers? What about being the defacto KD stopper in Cleveland? We’ll just have to wait and see.

In the meantime, Nike Basketball continues to release new and exciting colorways of the debut Nike PG 1. The $110 performance basketball model has been more than just well-received and the fact that the Swoosh has updated the silhouette with unique materials ranging from hairy suede, synthetic fish scales, sports mesh, and now premium leather has only helped the PG 1‘s status as a go-to model. Today we get a look at the Nike PG 1 Light Aqua, a pair that sports a smooth black leather paired with mesh, a textured Light Aqua midfoot strap, and raised texturized branding in Light Bone on the side panel to match the speckled midsole. For whatever reason, this pair also features reflective 3M on only the right heel tab for some asymmetry.
