Air Jordan 5 Retro “Flight Suit” Releases This Saturday

We’re only a few days away from the release of the Jordan 5 Red Suede and Jordan Brand dropped the official inspiration on us. No, these aren’t just a revisiting of the classic Air Jordan 5 Raging Bull Pack, but instead, the brand is paying tribute to some early 1990 Jordan apparel by naming this the Air Jordan 5 Flight Suit. The Air Jordan 5 was initially designed with the World War II mustang fighter jets in mind. The sleek design curves and painted on shark teeth appeared on the model’s midsole, but here it’s all about that all-red suede colorway. Jordan Brand even wants to prevent the yellowing on this pair by adding more red to the mesh side panel ventilation system while the traditional 3M reflective material hits the tongue.
