While Nike SB has curated a number of must-have retro-inspired releases throughout the past year, they’ve made major strides from a skateboarding standpoint by upgrading the Zoom cushioning inside and extending the lightweight panels through the use of Flyknit for a sock-like fit on the ankle collar. This Nike SB Duk High Elite “University Red” definitely has a certain Air Jordan 1 “Chicago” vibe to it given the alternate white and red color blocking, but Nike SB managed to stray a little further away from any Jordan homage by swapping out black for a College Navy. $125 USD might seem like a steep price to pay for a Dunk offering, but when you consider the comfort that comes with this pair and how you’ll be able to skate in these all day, it’s a price that’s well worth it.
