ESPN’s The Undefeated teamed up with Survey Monkey back in April to determine who the greatest black athlete was, asking 10,350 adults to rank 200 athletes on 20 different surveys. The result of their poll was that Michael Jordan, the six-time NBA Champion, owner of the Charlotte Hornets, and the athlete behind the booming success of Nike and his own label Jordan Brand, as the greatest black athlete of all-time. Three key indicators of Dominance, Impact On Society, and Inspiration played major roles in determining this prestigious list, and ranking just behind Jordan is Jackie Robinson, Muhammad Ali, Willie Mays, and Jesse Owens.
